Alvatec MicroGetter® AMG


The AMG® consists of a stainless steel mesh tube, filled with getter material and welded on both ends. The AMG comes with an integrated heater. The mesh size is usually between 1µm and 5µm. The getter material is a ZrVFe alloy and must be activated in a vacuum < 1E-3 mbar between 350° and 900°C, depending on activation time. The getter is absolutely particle free because the grain size of the getter alloy is much larger than the mesh size. Patent is pending.
